Term Dates

Details of our term dates and school holidays may be downloaded from the links below. Our term dates may differ from those set and published by Gateshead Council. Please email school if you require a paper copy.

School Day

The bell will ring in the yard just prior to the start of the school day to allow children to make their way into their classes.

Total hours provided: 32.5 hours a week.

• School registration starts: 8:45am
• Morning Breaktime is 10:45am
• Lunchtime is 12:00am 1:00pm
• School finishes: 3:15pm

Drop-off and Collection

• At the beginning of the school day, parents should ensure that their child has entered school safely before leaving.
• At the end of the day parents are encouraged to stand on the MUGA to allow safe dismissal of all children.
• Reception and Year 1 are dismissed from the outdoor classroom area.
• Year 2 are dismissed from their classroom door.
• Year 3 – Year 6 are dismissed from the yard.

If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let the office know.

Getting to and from school

• To get to and from school, walking is definitely a great option.
• Bike-racks are provided for those children travelling by bike or scooter.
• If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely. Please do not park outside school near the church as there are double yellow lines.
• The staff car park can be used by parents/carers with a disabilty, in agreement with school.
